'is', I think
That doesn't mean a good explanation doesn't exist.
Well, if you find it, let me know.
But I wouldn't rule it out based on lack of evidence or the evidence that is proposed is false or based on bad epistemology.
Does this mean 'But I wouldn't rule it out based on lack of evidence or the evidence that is proposed being false or based on bad epistemology.' ?
I agree with you that there has been no clear and convincing demonstration of this.
Of what?
Your writing is confusing. Review all three comments of yours and you should find at least two more issues, maybe three.

Re abuse: if somebody takes a baseball bat to his own car, do you consider that abuse/mistreatment of the car?
Ten years if we don’t force people to get vaccinated. twitter.com/mrj880/status/…
What’s specious about it?
Btw the “fancy creativity component” is exactly why I’m not a robot. And robots could be set up to respond to ‘abuse’, that still wouldn’t make them suffer.
Well, alcohol can be 'abused', too, but that's not what people mean when they call something 'animal abuse'. They mean an animal was caused to suffer. Which is impossible, so indifference to dogs (and Roombas) is okay. Not for me to say what people should do with their property.
No such thing as animal abuse, but the mask craze has indeed gone too far. twitter.com/libsoftiktok/s…

Recognizing oneself is a special case of recognizing members of one's species, which were part of many ancestral environments. And that ability can just be inborn.

I first read the English version and am very satisfied with the German translation. Anyone interested in physics must read it (I think) or anyone who wants to understand the world...
Yes, it worked very well in China. But that’s still amateur stuff. You can’t call yourself an environmentalist if you have any children at all.
If that really is what Kaepernick claims, he's doing something usually only women do: even in the greatest of circumstances they still find a way to complain and paint themselves as victims.

Re the last two quotes – given the link between physics and computation, could whatever fills the explanatory gap also explain creativity?
"[T]here must be something to physics beyond the quantum theory of computation." — p. 5
"[T]he principle of universality tells us that there must be a larger unifying theory outside the quantum theory of computation." — p. 7
