not killing or maiming people should indeed be enforceable because it’s a violation of their rights (and a form of abuse, so if you’re against abuse, that same reasoning should lead you to reject force against kids)

as a counterexample, i was persuaded as a child that brushing my teeth was a good idea and necessary, and then i did so happily and routinely
same for hygiene in general
