Yea, I think it’s similar to how Deutsch has said (IIRC) that Popper may well have known about good explanations. Maybe some of Popper’s writings are implicitly about them. Still good that Deutsch wrote about them.
Regarding precision I’m not sure what you refer to since I didn’t write about precision.
I think you mean ‘moot point’.
In light of ch. 10 we shouldn’t assume that what you’re saying is “evident”. Readers may miss it, especially if what’s written explicitly doesn’t match it.
