My definition isn’t authoritative; I may well be wrong. Re relativism: you said yourself you wish to judge whether Biden is racist by how the “majority of reasonable Americans” would judge it. That’s a changing, cultural standard relative to which you’d judge Biden.

Your comment assumes that “abuse” is clearly binary.
It doesn’t and I don’t know why you think it does. My comment allows for the possibility of gray areas. Also you’re suddenly jumping from moral judgment to legal judgment, which works differently.

I wasn’t trolling. That’s an unfair and uncharitable description of what I was doing.
Re accidental: Biden is making deliberate hiring decisions, as he himself says in the video. So it’s far from accidental. And even if it were, accidentally racist is still racist.

Yea, I think it’s similar to how Deutsch has said (IIRC) that Popper may well have known about good explanations. Maybe some of Popper’s writings are implicitly about them. Still good that Deutsch wrote about them.

In light of ch. 10 we shouldn’t assume that what you’re saying is “evident”. Readers may miss it, especially if what’s written explicitly doesn’t match it.
